Jersey Shore is your gateway to recreation opportunities throughout the north-central Pennsylvania highlands region.
Pine Creek Rail Trail
Hike and bike along 60 miles of what USA Today calls one of the 10 best hiking trails in the world. From Jersey Shore to Ansonia in Tioga County, this picturesque trail will take you through the PA Grand Canyon where bald eagles, deer, otters, and osprey abides, and waterfalls and dramatic rock outcrops line the trail.
Pine Creek Rail Trail
Biking & Walking Trail Connectivity Project: Lycoming County, in collaboration with Tioga and Clinton counties, is seeking federal grant funding to connect the communities of Jersey Shore, Lock Haven, and Wellsboro to the Pine Creek Rail Trail. In support of the grant application, the counties developed a brief survey and are asking for as much input as possible. It’s hoped that, in addition to recreational use, people will express interest in using the trails to commute to work or for shopping.
